Afterschool & Breakfast Club

About Our Club

Our After School and Breakfast Club was opened in 2009 when we moved to our new building on the grounds of Belmont Primary School.

The Club caters for children aged 4 – 7 years who attend Belmont Primary School and presently provides care for up to 24 children per day in After School Club and 16 in Breakfast Club.

We also run a Holiday Scheme which is open to (P1-P3) aged children. Belmont Playcare’s Afterschool and Breakfast Club provides a fun, exciting, and safe environment for your child before or after school. Our staff work hard to ensure that all our children are inspired and motivated through structured and informal activities.

Accessible Childcare

The Club aims to provide high quality, affordable, reliable, and accessible childcare to parents and carers, especially those who are working. We endeavour to meet all our children’s individual needs with a hardworking and highly qualified team of staff who continue to train within the field of childcare and playwork.

Meet Our Staff

The Breakfast Club

8:00am to 8:45am (Term Time)

The Breakfast Club was set up by the playcare to offer wrap around care for Belmont primary school and enable busy working parents to drop their children off into a safe, caring and fun environment before school starts.

How It Works:

The club is open to Belmont Primary School pupils only. You can drop off your child(ren) at 8 a.m. every weekday morning at Belmont Playcare. The children will be cared for until school starts. Included in the price is a healthy breakfast of cereal, toast, bagels, milk, and water. Fruit is also available on request. If any child has a dietary requirement or intolerance, we ask parents to keep us informed.

Once they have finished eating, we organise some quiet activity until walking the children onto the playground at 8.45am.

How much does it cost?

The price is £5.00 per day.

After School Club

2:15pm to 6:00pm (Term Time)

Our After School Club is very popular and looks after children from Belmont Primary School. Above all, our fully trained and qualified staff aim to make it as a fun and nurturing environment as possible to help our parents outside of school hours.

A healthy snack and drink are offered each afternoon alongside lots of exciting activities for the children. We ensure that there is a wide range of fun and games on offer so every child can find something to enjoy. These activities include things such as:

  • Various Crafts
  • Board Games
  • ICT
  • Outdoor Games
  • Plus lots more!

How it works:

At the end of the school day, the children are collected from Belmont Primary School by our qualified staff and walked over to the Playcare. They are fed a healthy snack before they join in on a wide range of activities.

How much does it cost?

The current price of the Afterschool Club is £21.50 per day (2.15pm-6pm)

We also cater for the P1 collection times of Belmont Primary School and any early closures.
